Then, Candis’ desire to do more for the community led her to The Human Solution International – Texas Chapter.
Importantly, society is demanding more from people who have been released from prison. As a result, The Human Solution International offers peer-to-peer support to combat the disparities in cannabis offenses.
Therefore, Candis is helping in a mentorship program that helps fight cannabis court cases and offer guidance with essential life skills for those reintegrating back into society.
She notes some of their needs include:
- Understanding how to use your cell phone as a computer.
- Help with financial management and budgeting.
- Obtaining identification.
